Playing with clay again...

Been playing around with the air dry clay again.  Not sure what I will make with these pieces yet, but really enjoyed doing them.
I have used these stamps such a lot lately, but enjoy how they look so different used with different materials.  I inked up the stamp before stamping into the clay, coloured the flower with water colour pencils and the background I sponged with Adirondack Inks.  I finished with some clear embossing powder, which has made it look like it has been fired in a kiln.
and another old stamp...I made these a while ago and embossed them again with clear powder.
This is a very thinly rolled out piece, which will go on a card sometime.

Some stunning pieces Carol, something I would love to try, but I think I need to use some of what I have unopened before I buy more goodies.

Sorry not been by in a while, had family probs, so now trying to play catch up.

Hi Carol

Sorry I haven't stopped by for awhile but I've been having a wonderful time catching up.
I love love love what you've done with the Art Journey freebie stamp. It's such a gorgeous image and you've been so inventive with it. The door hanger is beautiful.
These clay pieces are really stunning too. They'd made brilliant tiles on a bathroom or kitchen wall.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
