Another New Home

Everyone seems to be moving this year!  I didn't have any ideas for a card and I only have one new home stamp, which although nice it is small.  This was for my sister and she likes big cards, so couldn't use that.  I had already decorated the small frame with my newly found technique, a piece from my recent blog candy win and it was Andy's idea that I used when he just said "can't you just do a home sweet home card".  My aim here was for it to look like a Victorian wall in a house with the two different wallpapers and the dado separating them, I hope she will "get it".

Like before I used different coloured embossing powders and topped it with clear UTEE, but I added some black tiny accent beads with the last layer to add some interest and texture.  I am impatient and should wait until morning to get a better picture, this is a bit wishy washy really and I may replace it with a better one!

Some blog candy & New Home Card

I was so chuffed this morning when I switched my computer on to see what emails I had to deal with this Monday morning and found one from Hels to say I had won some blog candy, what lovely news eh?  Well this is what is coming my way and I cannot wait to see it, not bought any new stuff for ages, so looking forward to be using something that I perhaps haven't used before :)

Made this card for my Cousin, Mandy and her husband, still having photography problems as my trees are a lovely green (Ranger, Lettuce), but they look a bit yellowy here.  The house and tree stamp were free with Craft Stamper Magazine, the flower is a Penny Black stamp, stamped with Versa Color (Amethyst (157).  The Sun is stamped with Versa Color Split Pea (63), but I spritzed the stamp with a little water before stamping onto the card.

New House!

A moving in card for Sarah and Andy who moved today to their lovely big new house, they have three children and have outgrown their little house they bought when they first got married. This was made from the freebie stamp that came with the last Craftstamper magazine. The trees are covered in Glossy Accents, hope they like it.
One photo with flash and one without, both photos sadly are not great, I should get that tripod out and actually use it, doh.

Flowersoft

For James and Connie who have just moved into their new home. I am not sure whether I have mastered the art of using Flowersoft yet, must practise more!
